Introduction to CQ University

CQ University began as the Queensland Institute of Technology (Capricornia) in 1967, and after two years under the name of the University College of Central Queensland, in 1992 became an official university named the University of Central Queensland. In 1994, it adopted the name Central Queensland University. In 2008, it became CQ University in recognition of the institutions' expansion beyond the Central Queensland region.

CQ University produces research that has a real-world impact, and our Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) results show we produce world-class research in 22 research categories. Entry Requirements to study in CQ University

CQ University offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses. The Entry Requirements for which are as below.

For Undergraduate: 12Th Standard with Percentage of 80% and Above and for Ielts:6.0 with no Band less than 5.5 and few Courses requiring 6.5, PTE: 50 with no band less than 42*.

For Post Graduate : Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline with 70% above and Ielts: 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 and few Courses requiring 7.0, PTE: 58 with no band less than 50*.
